Goldwater Scholarship Information Session: September 13 and September 17Contributed by Rachel Balzano on 09/10/18 Te-Wen Lo, our Goldwater Campus Representative, will host an information session on September 13 in CNS 118 during the noon hour and September 17 in Six Mile Creek from 4-5pm. The Goldwater Scholarship is one of the most prestigious national scholarships in the natural sciences, engineering, and mathematics. It seeks to identify and support college sophomores and juniors who demonstrate exceptional promise in their respective research fields. Our very own Dallas Fonseca ’18 (Mathematics, Biochemistry) was named a 2017 Barry Goldwater Scholar. Last year an additional 281 nominees were named as Honorable Mentions, two of which were Jesse Hsu ’19, Chemistry BS major and Madison Chlebowski ’19, Biology BS major of Ithaca College. Scholarship Amount: Scholarships of up to $7500 a year are provided to help cover cost associated with tuition, mandatory fees, books, room and board. Te-Wen Lo, our Goldwater Campus Representative, will host an information session on September 13 in CNS 118 during the noon hour and September 17 in Six Mile Creek from 4-5pm.
