The Office of Student Engagement is excited to announce that the new Assistant Director of Leadership Programs, Courtney Owens, will begin her new post on Monday, September 17.

Courtney recently graduated from Western Kentucky University with her MA in Organizational Leadership. She has experience working in the University Center and department of Student Activities at WKU, as well as the department of Academic Planning and Career Services at South Central Community and Technical College. Courtney has traveled extensively to participate in service-learning programs in Japan, Germany, Italy, Australia, South Africa, and the United Arab Emirates - and she is looking forward to her next adventure in Ithaca!

As the Assistant Director of Leadership Programs, Courtney will oversee the Student Leadership Institute, multiple leadership retreats for IC students, and be the adviser to the Senior Class and Senior Week Committee. If you would like a chance to meet Courtney right away, please join us for a welcome event on Monday, September 17 from 2:30-3:30 in the Student Activities Center.

OSE is also pleased to announce that Stephan Douglas-Allen will be starting a temporary assignment in the Office of Student Engagement on Monday, September 17. Stephan graduated from Ithaca College in May 2018 with his BS in Business Administration, and he will be covering the budget and office administrative duties while Brittany Watros is on leave during the fall 2018 semester. We are looking forward to working with Stephan for the next few months!
