Come meet WGST minors as well as faculty at the upcoming social hour, 5:30-6:30 on September 19th at the Handwerker Gallery.
The WGST Social Hour will be held on September 19th, 5:30-6:30 pm in the Handwerker Gallery. In addition to the opportunity to meet other WGST students, we'll be introducing three new faculty members: They are: Our WGST pre-doctoral diversity scholar DONNY BELLAMY, who is teaching a Special Topics Introduction to Intersectionality course this semester and next semester will be teaching a new course titled: Striking a Pose: Trans* Representation in Media. Dr. MELISA CASUMBAL-SALAZAR, who is currently teaching two sections of our intro course (WGST 10000) and next semester will be teaching a WGST Special Topics course on Transnational Feminisms. And Dr. KATIE GEMMILL, our new joint hire with the English Department, who will be teaching two sections of WGST 10000 in the spring. All are welcome! Pizza, local grapes, and the season's first batch of fresh pressed apple cider will be served!
