 Park School of Communications assistant professor Yvette Sterbenk will present "Where Do You Stand? Communication and Issues Advocacy in Today's Political Landscape" at the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) International Conference in Austin, TX, on October 8, 2018.

Yvette Sterbenk, assistant professor in the Strategic Communications department, will co-present "Where Do You Stand? Communication and Issues Advocacy in Today's Political Landscape" at the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) International Conference in Austin, TX, on October 8, 2018.

The session will focus on the increase in corporate engagement in controversial socio-political issues. Sterbenk will present decision-making models for how communicators guide companies through this new landscape. 

PRSA is the nation's largest professional organization serving the communications industry, and the annual international conference serves both professionals and scholars in the field.
