Anaphylaxis is a severe, potentially life-threatening allergic reaction that can be caused by allergies to food, insect stings, latex etc. and can happen at any time. Make sure you're prepared to help save a life by attending this free training Recognizing and Responding to Anaphylaxis October 4th from 12:10 -1:00 in Clarke Lounge, Campus Center This training session will teach community members how to identify symptoms and how to administer an Epi-Pen. Please Note: This training will not result in an official certification (ie: Red Cross) for use/administration of an Epi-Pen.In order to allow time for participants to practice with the training injectors the session will be limited to the first 30 participants. If more people show up we close the room at 30 and schedule a second session. |
