The Office of the Provost and Information Technology have partnered to introduce a new self-service option for optical scanning of student assessments. Now available this self-serve option will allow faculty to scan student exams in a more expedited manner. 

Located in the Faculty Learning Center – Job Hall 103 - faculty can process scanning jobs at their convenience 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 

Benefits of Self-Service Station:

  • Quickly and easily process assessments
  • No long forms to fill out, do the scanning yourself
  • No long wait times to pick up scans (24-business hours)
  • No more multiple trips to the IT Service Desk
  • Send reports directly to your email inbox, no more having to access Sakai Dropbox
  • Receive all 12 standard reports and a CSV file for your grade book
  • View test data in minutes providing valuable feedback in a timely manner

Stop by the IT Service Desk in Job 104 at your convenience Monday-Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm to schedule a training session with an IT/TLT staff member or contact the IT Service Desk at (607) 274-1000 or email at servicedesk@ithaca.edu.
