The Off-campus Application Process for the 2019-2020 academic year will begin Monday, October 22, 2018 at 8:00 AM.
The Office of Residential Life will begin accepting applications for off campus living for the 2019-2020 academic year for all rising juniors beginning Monday, October 22, 2018. Information about the application process may be found on the Residential Life website. Students planning to study away during the Fall 2019 or Spring 2020 semester who wish to live off campus for the other semester need to apply for off-campus housing through this process. At this time, only rising juniors may apply. We will open an off-campus approval process for rising sophomores only if we do not meet the off-campus approval target with applications from rising juniors.
Please be aware that Residential Life expects to release a limited number of non-seniors to live off campus for the 2019-2020 academic year. As a result some of the rising juniors who apply to live off campus may not be approved. Students should not sign any leases before they receive written approval by the Office of Residential Life to move off campus. Students who apply and are not approved for off-campus release will be placed on an off-campus wait list. It is possible that circumstances could allow for additional off-campus releases in the spring or summer, but equally possible that students on the wait list will not receive off-campus approval. Please refer to the Ithaca College Residency Policy. Applications for off-campus approval will be accepted Monday, October 22, 2018 at 8:00 AM through Friday, October 26, 2018 at 5:00 PM. All off-campus applications including students on the wait list will be prioritized by the date and time of the last piece of the application received. For questions, please refer to our website, call our office at 607-274-3141, or email housing@ithaca.edu.
