 The Family Weekend Planning Committee is looking for student organizations to perform during the ‘Celebration in the Center’ event on Saturday, November 3 from 7 pm – 9 pm during Family Weekend. 

The Family Weekend Planning Committee is looking for student organizations to perform during the ‘Celebration in the Center’ event on Saturday, November 3 from 7 pm – 9 pm during Family Weekend. We are looking for student organizations to perform no longer than 15 minutes. Performance based organizations (singing/dancing) will be held in Emerson Suites and Theatre/Comedy/Spoken Word based organizations will be held in IC Square. The following will be provided (nothing more):

1) Standard wash lighting for the stage

2) Four wireless handheld microphones

                *Choral mics can be provided as appropriate

3) Audio playback for the dance performances (music must be provided via a USB on Friday, November 2)

There will be an ability to do a run-through between 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm on November 3rd.

A poster session for any non-performance based organizations will be held in Klingenstein Lounge for the entirety of the Celebration in the Center. You will be provided one six-foot table. E-mail Mary Holland-Bavis (meholland@ithaca.edu) if you’d like to reserve a table.
