ICIC 20000 Changing the World Explores how multiple perspectives can be brought together to creatively respond to significant social challenges. A challenge is selected, and student teams engage in inquiry to understand and propose creative responses to it. Skill at making connections across perspectives is developed. Pass/Fail. 1 credit. Prerequisites: Six credits of ICC perspective courses. LA. (F,S)

ICIC 12000-03 Insight: Combining Expertise Topic: Pain Description: Pain without love 'Cause I'd rather feel pain than nothing at all. Pain is a sign, a symbol, a cause, and an effect. Pain is in the human brain and mind. Industries thrive to understand and help humans deal with pain. Sometime they cause pain. Pain is also a song and a musical project in Sweden. In this course, we will examine how pain is used as a symbol and an artifact, a physical and mental entity, and explore the extent to which pain is studied and thought about from many dimensions.
