Dear Ithaca College Students, Faculty and Staff, 

As co-chairs of the Vice President for the Human and Organizational Development, Innovation, and Planning search committee, we write to you with news on our progress and next steps.  

Our executive search firm, Witt/Kieffer, publically launched a nationwide search in late October and the response has already proven robust and with great interest.  Our Witt/Kieffer consultants will continue with broad outreach to a diverse group of leaders who have the experience, vision and drive necessary to assume this dynamic new role.

The search committee is spending time with industry experts in the fields of human resources, strategic planning and university innovation to learn more about today's challenges, opportunities and best practices so that we may best assess and identify a strong vice presidential selection.  The committee will continue to seek out these resources, listen and learn intently in the coming weeks. 

Additionally, we have established a website containing the leadership profile as well as other information regarding the Vice President for the Human and Organizational Development, Innovation, and Planning position/search. 

Lastly, an important part of that preparation is to seek ongoing feedback and continued dialogue with the Ithaca community. To that end, the search committee will be holding listening sessions so you will have an opportunity to hear more about the role and we can gain your valuable feedback.  You are invited to attend one of the two listening sessions scheduled below.
