The Professional Development Committee of the Alumni Board in collaboration with Students Today Alumni Tomorrow, the School of Business, and Career Services invites you to attend Perfect Your Pitch: Get Ready for Networking. 

This event has two parts: part one from 7:00-7:30 p.m. is a Zoom presentation featuring alumni Rob Thomas ’89 expert networker extraordinaire, and AABD member Chris Lee '10, human resources advisor, Dell Marketing LP. Part two from 7:30-8:30 p.m. is a breakout session with tabling topics that include creating business cards, developing your elevator pitch, and preparing for the event. Topics of discussion will include how to start a conversation, attire, and what it means to engage with alumni. This is a great opportunity for students who are more introverted to become comfortable with networking. ALL students are encouraged to attend regardless of ability to attend a regional network night. Attendees receive Life After IC and Career Connections credit. Refreshments will be served.
