Want to learn about the universe and fulfill your ICC credit for Natural Sciences this Spring 2019?Contributed by Jill Ackerman on 01/21/19 Are you looking for a Natural Science course that fulfills your ICC requirements? Stars, Galaxies, and the Universe (ASTR-17500) is a 3-credit, introductory level astronomy course taught from the Natural Sciences perspective and aligned with the Inquiry, Imagination, Innovation and Identities themes. Physics and Astronomy Professor Preston Countryman is pleased to offer this course every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday during Spring Semester from 12:00 – 12:50 PM. The course covers material ranging from the cause of the seasons on earth, to the cores of stars, to the expansion of the universe. Active labs and collaborative activities make up a substantial portion of this course. Come and explore the origins and fate of everything! Questions?
