Still looking for a Natural Science course that fulfills your ICC requirements?Contributed by Jill Ackerman on 01/21/19 Solar System Astronomy (ASTR-17400) is a 3-credit, introductory level astronomy course taught from the Natural Sciences perspective and aligned with the Inquiry, Imagination, Innovation and A World of Systems themes. Physics and Astronomy Professor Preston Countryman is pleased to offer this course every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:50 AM – 12:05 PM. The course covers material ranging from space exploration, planetary dynamics, and composition of planets. Active labs and collaborative activities make up a substantial portion of this course.
