We wanted to let the campus community know that we have revised the opening date of our new August orientation program for incoming students. This change comes after a great deal of consideration and consultation, and is being made in order to provide the best possible experience for our new students and their families.

Orientation will begin one day earlier than had originally been planned, on Tuesday, Aug. 20. It will still conclude on the following Tuesday, Aug. 27, with the first day of classes on Wednesday, August 28. We believe that this change will help optimize the opportunities for our new students and their families to be welcomed into our campus and local communities.

The August Orientation Planning Committee has done tremendous work around the development of this program and we will continue to keep the campus community informed as the planning moves forward
