"There are no walls that separate the society we live in from the businesses and organizations we work in. If we expect to achieve all the benefits of diversity and inclusion in our workplace (greater creativity, productivity, and profit), then we will need to create a society to live in that values that diversity and inclusion as well.” (Excerpt from Reinventing Diversity: Transforming Organizational Community to Strengthen People, Purpose, and Performance)

Howard Ross is a lifelong social justice advocate and considered one of the world’s most influential thought leaders on identifying and addressing unconscious bias. Howard has specialized in the synthesis of neuro-cognitive and social science research and direct application regarding Diversity, Inclusion, Equity and Accessibility work. He is the author of

  • Everyday Bias:  Identifying and Navigating Unconscious Judgments in Our Daily Lives

It's a shame that those of us that cannot attend because of class schedule are not eligible for the raffle. I am sorry to miss the talk, and would like to read his book.
