A fond farewell and best wishes to Jan Favaro, R.N., who is retiring from her position as a Registered Nurse at the Hammond Health Center after almost 30 years.

Jan was hired at Ithaca College in 1989 and started working in the Health Center, providing care to students and educating them in their health. She became the Allergen nurse in 1993 and since then has been providing allergy injections to students and staff as well. Jan served as a member of Staff Council for over fifteen years.

Jan is planning to volunteer at the Free Clinic in her retirement. She is looking forward to traveling and spending the winters at her home in Florida. Family is very important to Jan and she is looking forward to spending more time with them, especially her grandchildren.

Jan has cared for many students throughout the years and has been a valuable resource to the staff at the health center. We will miss her and wish her the best in her future endeavors!
