Brains in a Bar - Tomorrow Night

Contributed by Terry Taney on 01/29/19

Join us at Northstar House at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday!

Experience learning like never before at our next faculty/staff speaker series "Brains in a Bar!"

Our next opportunity to mix socializing and learning will be extra special, as we will feature Provost La Jerne Terry Cornish and Associate Professor Jason Freitag, co-chairs of IC’s Strategic Planning Committee.

This planning process began in the summer of 2018, and will continue through the spring semester of 2019. As a community, we will help design the next chapter of IC’s history and answer the question, “Who do we want to be?”

Provost Cornish and Professor Freitag will share their insights on the planning process, as well as plans for the next few months. By the time this process is complete, Professor Freitag hopes “people in the IC community will feel that they see themselves in this process, and that the plan that results feels authentic and true to the strengths and hopes of the college.”
