Recreation And Leisure Studies Faculty appointed Chair of NCTRC Scholarship CommitteeContributed by Janice Elich Monroe on 01/31/19 Dr. Janice Elich Monroe has been appointed Chair for the Scholarship Committee for the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC). This committee will be responsible for providing academic scholarship to individuals who are taking courses to become certification eligible or to pursue courses in areas of specialization, progress toward an advance degree in Therapeutic Recreation (TR) or enhancing personal knowledge base with the intent of providing improved quality of car for recipients of TR services. This is a two year appointment. Dr. Monroe is a past Chair of NCTRC and served as a member of the board for six years April 1997 to April 2003. |
