The Ithaca College Library and Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT) have partnered to implement Ex Libris Leganto, a new reading list/e-reserves tool that integrates with the Sakai learning environment. Faculty who currently use e-reserves are encouraged to use Leganto, as well as any faculty member who would like to utilize reading lists. Using the online Leganto system, attendees can begin to assemble materials of all types – physical books, online or digitized book chapters, scholarly articles, videos, newspaper articles, websites or any other type of material – to create a structured, comprehensive resource list. TLT staff will walk you through the getting started with Leganto and point out important features of the tool to support teaching and learning.

We will have some snacks.  Please stop by for a few minutes or stay longer.  TLT and Library staff will be available for all your questions.

The Apps and Appetizers Learning Series is offered by the department of Teaching and Learning with Technology. All Ithaca College Faculty are invited to attend in the Faculty Learning Space (Job Hall 103) from 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm. You will receive 1:1 or small group support from the Teaching & Learning with Technology team. If you have a laptop, you are encouraged to have it ready, so you can access and try out suggested applications; however, you are not required to have a personal device. Appetizers and refreshments will be available while you work.  See the TLT Event Calendar for more learning opportunities.

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Marilyn Dispensa at mdispensa@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-3647. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
