Minicourse offered by the Park Center for Independent Media

Students:

Raza Rumi, Director of the Park Center for Independent Media (PCIM) is offering a minicourse focusing on the challenges that independent media faces today.

GCOM 39100: Media Today: Ideas, Practices and Challenges (1 cr) CRN 43308

This seminar enables students to gain immersive experience in the Independent Media Symposium 2019 as participants, reporters and bloggers. The course offers students a mix of theory and practice focusing on the challenges that independent media faces today. The course also offers training in learning how to serve as part of a conference/symposia staff by learning all aspects of the history of independent media vision, its financing and partnerships.
