The Writing Department is excited to announce that its 2019 Spring Writing Contests are now open until March 31st. For a complete list of rules, click here.

Submissions will be considered in the following categories:

  • First-Year Essay
  • Poetry
  • Hybrid
  • Short Story
  • Long-form Writing
  • Personal Essay or Memoir
  • Creative Nonfiction
  • Nonfiction
  • Feature/Magazine
  • Humor/Satire
