There is a very old saying in the theater: "There's no tragedy like Greek tragedy."

Performance majors in the Department of Theatre Arts invite you to enjoy their speeches (in English translation) by several characters from a variety of ancient Greek tragedies. The performance will also include a rendition of one of the choruses from Sophocles' Antigone.

When: Monday February 18 at 2:15 p.m. for 35 minutes.

Where: Studio 4 of Dillingham Center (ground level).

The presentation is free of charge. We hope you can join us for these stirring speeches from early Western dramatic literature.

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Greg Bostwick at gbostwick@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-3794. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
