Athletic Training Professor Presents Multiple Sessions in FranceContributed by Paul Geisler on 02/20/19 Associate Professor and Clinical Education Coordinator for the Athletic Training Education Program, Dr. Patrick O. McKeon, PhD, ATC, CSCS presented numerous workshops and lectures on foot and ankle injuries and rehabilitation to an audience of French speaking sports medicine professionals in Montpelier, France last week. Dr. McKeon a nationally renowned expert on the prevention, evaluation, and rehabilitation of foot and ankle injuries in active populations was an invited guest at the large sports medicine conference in Montpelier, France recently. Dr. McKeon presented multiple workshops and lectures on the evidence and science behind the "common ankle sprain", as well as various techniques for preventing and treating the common malady in sport in order to prevent long term dysfunction and injury to damaged joints. |
