Six Ithaca College IMC student teams have been selected to progress to the semi-final round in the Washington Media Scholars Case Competition! After competing in the qualifying round of the contest, the top 30 teams in the country were selected to contend in the Media Plan Case Competition semi-finals. This elite event challenges students to think strategically and dive into the deep-end of marketing impressions, numbers and budgets. The six top teams in the semi-final round will receive an all-expense-paid trip to Washington, D.C. to compete for the National Excellence in Media Award and $16,000 in scholarships.

30 total student teams representing the following 15 schools will advance in the competition:

BYU-Idaho

Carroll College

Emory University

Georgetown University

Iowa State University

Ithaca College

Lamar University

South Dakota State University

Temple University

University of Delaware

University of South Carolina

University of Wisconsin-Madison

Willamette University

The six Ithaca College IMC student teams moving forward are:

  • Nicole Diacik and Connor Sheffield
  • Ly Do and Yuhan Qui
  • Eden Dodge (Solo Entry)
  • Anna Ferrari and Kevin Wynn
  • Jessica Gallagher and Crista Messenger

All six teams are advised by IMC Professor Dr. Lisa Farman.
