Residential Life is now accepting applications for its newest Residential Learning Community, FIRST Place. 

The FIRST Place community is open to any student who identifies as first-generation (students – and their siblings – who are the first in their family to attend a four-year, residential college in the US). In the FIRST Place community, first generation students will connect with other students who share the same experiences as them, grow professional and emotionally with peers, faculty, and staff. Students will be able to develop a personal success plan, alongside exploring the campus in order to build self-confidence in a new home.

The FIRST Place community is open to all years, and is located on the 5th floor of East Tower. For those interested in applying, login to HomerConnect and go to the Housing Portal then follow the link on the ‘Fall 2019 Selection’ page to fill out an application. Priority deadline for applications is March 8th.
