Google has recently announced a serious security vulnerability with Chrome on all platforms (Mac, Windows and mobile devices). Though many devices will auto update, we recommend that you verify that all of your devices, both College and personal, are running Chrome 72.0.3626.121 or higher.

See this Chrome help article for info about checking your version. Note that instead of the More button (3 vertical dots at the top right of the Chrome window) mentioned in the article, you may see a small circle with an up-pointing arrow. This means that Chrome requires some action (such as an update).

Our records indicate that a large percentage of College-owned Macs computers do not yet have the update, so IT will be "pushing" the update out to Macs starting Thursday, 3/14 at 9 AM. The majority of Windows computers do have the update, but users should still verify and update as needed.

Please contact the Service Desk for further assistance.
