The Catholic Community is offering an opportunity to volunteer with the Sisters of St. Joseph in Rochester for a weekend service retreat.

The sign-up deadline is this Monday, March 25. 

Students who participate will travel on Friday April 5 around 5 PM and return on Sunday April 7 at around 12:30 PM. 

 On Saturday, April 6 you will have the opportunity to volunteer at one of 3 locations: a home for medically fragile and hard-to-place children, a Catholic Worker women's shelter or a soup kitchen. 

Participants will also reflect on their day of service and learn more about Catholic Social Teaching principles.

You will also need to email campus minister John Morton at jmorton4@ithaca.edu for a paper application (1 page long). You can also pay in cash at Muller Chapel in the Catholic Community offices downstairs (Room 105).
