Gossip. Intrigue. Infidelity. Ripped from today's headlines? Hardly. Get a look at how these topics were portrayed on the British stage during the Restoration and Georgian periods. Students in the Styles of Acting course will present scenes from The Country Wife (1675), The Way of the World (1700) and School for Scandal (1777) on Wednesday April 3 at 12:15 p.m. in Studio 4 on the ground level of Dillingham Center. The presentation is free and will last for about 40 minutes. Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Greg Bostwick at gbostwick@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-3794. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible. |
