April is Focus Asia Month! Below are the different events lined up for the rest of the month. Find time to put them in your calendar and celebrate! Thursday, April 25th Liminal Spaces presented by the Center for IDEAS & Religious and Spiritual Life 7:30 pm in Muller Chapel How do we move through life stages and how can we honor that movement? This interfaith, cross-cultural event explores different traditions surrounding death and grief from across Asia. This event will feature culturally relevant ritualistic foods and discussion will speak openly about death and dying. Friday, April 26th Asia Night presented by Asian American Alliance 5:00 pm in Emerson Suites AAA's big finale! Come celebrate Focus Asia Month with food, activities and amazing performances. Tuesday, April 30th Spotlight: Focus Asia presented by the Center for IDEAS 12:10 pm in Clark Lounge A lunch hour discussion for faculty and staff. Our student keynote speaker, JC Kuo will kick off our conversation with his thoughts on missing Asian voices in POC spaces and the need for intentional intersectionality.
