FLEFF 2019 DISRUPTIONS: Films Downtown at CinemapolisContributed by Patricia Zimmermann on 04/03/19 The 21st Annual Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival presents: Film and events downtown at Cinemapolis April 3-7. Cutting edge international independent cinema, with visiting filmmakers and artists, moderators, and robust post-screening discussions These are ticketed events (everything on the Ithaca College campus is free). Passes available at the Ithaca College Bookstore: $40 for a five pass, $20 for students with IDs This year, FLEFF has programmed 120 separate events on the Ithaca College campus and downtown at Cinemapolis with film, video, installation, music,writing, and researchfrom around the globe and across the United States. At Cinemapolis, we have programmed 32 films including narrative features, documentaries, experimental works, animation, new media, and silent film/live music. We have 40 separate screenings of works from Mexico, Korea, Zambia, US, Syria, Pakistan, Norway, Australia, Iran, Russia, Argentina, China, Singapore, Poland, India, Egypt. Many of the filmmakers, producers, directors, and designers are here to speak after the films.
