Barney Beins made two presentations at the annual convention of the Eastern Psychological Association in New York City.

His two presentations focused on the history of psychology: The origins of the Eastern Psychological Association in NYC in 2003 and Early psychological perspectives on African Americans: Hidden assumptions and conclusions. He also chaired two sessions at the convention.
