Come learn from Bill Foster, the Program Director of Discover Cayuga Lake (formerly known as the Cayuga Lake Floating Classroom). Bill will be discussing what Discover Cayuga Lake does, to include eco-cruises on Cayuga Lake, class experiences doing science on the lake for ages 5 and up, Trout in the Classroom, and a variety of stream-based field trips. Food will be served. Bonus: they hire interns and summer employees! Discover Cayuga Lake provides hands-on learning opportunities in the interest of sustaining the Finger Lakes waterways for future generations. They are a partner project of the non-profit Center for Transformative Action in Ithaca, NY. All proceeds from their tourist cruises support Discover Cayuga Lake’s non-profit educational mission.
