Opioid Overdose Prevention Workshop - Learn how to use naloxone to save a life: Wednesday, May 1st, 4-5pm.Contributed by Nancy Reynolds on 04/14/19 Would you like to be able to save the life of someone who is overdosing on an opioid such as Oxycontin, Vicodin or heroin? The Opioid Overdose Prevention Training Workshop is a skill-building program presented by staff from Southern Tier AIDS Program (STAP). The workshop is designed to help you in recognizing and preventing fatal opioid overdoses. Participants will learn basic information about harm reduction, signs of overdose, and how to administer naloxone in the case of an opioid overdose emergency. Participants who complete the training will receive an identification card that they can use to obtain a free naloxone kit at the STAP location in downtown Ithaca.

Wednesday, May 1st, 4-5 pm - Ithaca Falls Room The Ithaca Falls Room is on the 2nd floor of the Campus Center. It's located halfway down the long hallway, near the restrooms. The workshops are open to all IC students, faculty and staff.
