Three student documentaries from TVR 29900 Nonfiction Production, will broadcast on PBS station WCNY on Sunday April 28, at 11pm.

 

The program will be one hour in duration. These projects have already screened at a total of nine different festivals and events around the world. This sophomore level documentary production class is taught by John D. Scott. Below are the names of the students and their projects:

Curing a Genocide, 20:12, Julia Hughes, Sean Reardon, Malama Sokoni, Amanda Spiezio

Exploring approaches to solving the opioid crisis and preventing overdose deaths.

Bruce & Daryl, 18:46, Joshua Jacobius & Alisha Tamarchenko.

A look into the life and the relationship of two older gay men in Upstate New York.

At the Table, 16:32, Steven Stewart, Kristen Harrison, and Alden Skeadas

The legacy of Father Divine’s International Peace Mission Movement and how they intend to preserve their history.
