Introduction to Film Aesthetics and Analysis (CNPH 10100) will expose you to the cinematic techniques utilized throughout film history to create meaning, suggest mood, develop psychology of characters, and communicate ideas. Emphasis is placed on classic American and foreign films, from the silent period to the present day. (3 credits) This Summer Session I online course is designed for maximum flexibility in scheduling, with asynchronous teaching modules conducted from May 28 to June 28.
