Updated Course Registration Override form in IC WorkflowContributed by Vikki Levine on 04/23/19 On April 24th, the Course Registration Override form in IC Workflow will have a new feature which will allow students to upload a current PDF degree audit from Degree Works or a PDF of your unofficial transcript from Homer Connect. Students: Attaching a degree audit or unofficial transcript helps speed up processing. Not including this information with your form may cause the request to be declined. Click here for information on how to create an unofficial transcript PDF Click the Save as PDF button in Degree Works to create a PDF Faculty: You can now have academic information in one source for decision making. Please keep in mind, if a student does not include the upload you can decline the Course Registration Override form and ask them to resubmit with the attachment. This adds a frustrating layer of bureaucracy. If it's necessary that students grant
permission to have their transcript viewed from a privacy perspective, surely it\'s possible to automate that process rather than forcing students to create and attach a pdf of their transcript. |

attempting to solve. Faculty need to be able to see transcripts to know
if students have appropriate course work to override into a course.
When the changes were made to systems we lost the ability to see
transcripts. With this change students now theoretically have a choice
as to whether faculty can see their transcript but in reality they are
forced to submit it otherwise they will get rejected making it not really a
choice. So the overall effect of all changes is that students now have to
spend 10 minutes submitting overrides because it takes so long to
generate transcripts when previously they spent 1.
