Living in Ithaca this summer? You can still have your mail and packages sent to campus.

Who can use this service?

  • Any current IC student living in Ithaca this summer
    • Students living in on-campus housing AND off-campus in Ithaca are eligible
  • Not Eligible Students who are NOT living in Ithaca during the summer

What are the timelines to enroll?

  • Students who lived off-campus during the school year should enroll as soon as possible to be added to our database (mail will not be held until your enrollment is confirmed)
  • Students with Spring on-campus housing assignments (except Circles) should enroll by May 17 to continue to receive mail without interruption
  • Circle Apartment residents remaining in their Spring apartment up to the July 8 moveout date are not required to enroll before that date unless they will remain in Ithaca for the remainder of the summer.
  • Any student not enrolled in this service after these timelines will have their mail or packages returned to sender (or forwarded home, if applicable). 
    • Students may enroll after these timelines, but IC Mail Service will not hold mail/packages until enrollment is confirmed
  • Shipping to IC ahead of Fall move in will be addressed in a separate Intercom post

 

Where are mail and packages held for pickup?

  • Phillips Hall Post Office
    • Summer hours
      • Weekdays, 8:30am - 4:30pm
      • Fridays (between May 24 - Aug 9) closing at 2:30pm
      • No evening or weekend hours
  • Students will receive regular email notifications for each piece of mail or package received (the same as during the regular semester)


 How do you enroll?

  1. Visit the Office of the Registrar's Change of Address page
  2. Fill in the required fields
  3. From the dropdown, select Hold Summer Mail At Phillips Hall Post Office
  4. Do not check boxes for any other Address Type changes
  5. Click Submit

Please allow 1-2 business days to complete processing of your address change in our tracking system
