Theme: Inquiry, Imagination and Innovation. Perspective: Creative Arts. 3 credits The genre known as "Flash" combines the characteristics and techniques of poetry and fiction. It is sometimes called "Sudden Fictions," "Flash Fiction," "Short-shorts," or "Concise Literary Non-Fiction. This online course resembles a traditional creative writing workshop in terms of including genre study as well as regular writing practice and development of a final portfolio of original writing.
