Dear campus community members,

As a result of the active work of our executive search firm Witt/Kieffer and the contributions of our community, the search for Ithaca College’s next Vice President for Institutional Advancement is moving quickly forward.  

I am continuing to have conversations with very strong candidates about this position to assess their level of interest, excitement, and expertise, and I am pleased to share with you that I will soon be finalizing my selection of four top candidates to bring to Ithaca College for interviews with members of our campus community.   

I am looking to welcome these four finalists to our campus between June 2-10. During their time here, finalists will meet with our vice presidents, deans, and the leadership and staff of the Division of Institutional Advancement, and have opportunities to engage with members of our governance councils; representatives from student life; leaders from our athletics office; and the college’s President’s Fellows. I am aiming to have a new leader in this role by late summer. 

I want to thank the members of our college community for your ongoing interest and support of this search. This is a critical time for institutional advancement at IC, especially as we prepare to implement a transformational strategic plan, and I look forward to all we can accomplish together in the coming years.
