Feedback About the Email Alert Banner for External EmailsContributed by Kayla Lepkowski on 05/28/19 The following message is being posted on behalf of David Weil, AVP/CIO Information Technology. We’d like your feedback on the alert banner that appears on top of emails that arrive from outside of our email system. This past spring the banner stating "This message originated from outside the Ithaca College email system" was added to email messages from external senders to help reduce the likelihood that someone would be tricked into responding to a phishing or other type of fraudulent message.
