Ithaca College

Jonathan Ablard (History) presented "'Sin pensar en las consecuencias': desertion from the army during the Argentine dictatorship (1976-1983)" at the annual meeting of the Latin American Studies Association (Boston MA, May 24-27, 2019).

This paper was part of a panel that he organized on reevaluating the last military government in Argentina. Dr. Ablard also served as chair of a panel entitled "New Histories of Public Health and Social Policy in Latin America." 

Finally, Professor Ablard served as Chair of the Health, Science, and Technology Section of LASA, a position which he will hold through the summer of 2020.
