Summer Swim Lessons

Summer Swim Lessons registration is open!

Summer Swim Lessons registration is open, you can find lists of dates and times for classes offered this summer on the website.  All Summer Swim Lessons are taught at the Outdoor Pool located between the A&E Center and Fitness Center, in cases of inclement weather lessons will be moved to the indoor pool.  The Outdoor Pool is heated.

Summer Weekend Swim Lessons

  • Session 1 – Saturday, June 22 & Sunday, June 23 @ 11:00am
  • Session 2 - Saturday, June 29 & Sunday, June 30 @ 11:00am
  • Session 3 - Saturday, July 13 & Sunday, July 14 @ 11:00am
  • Session 4 - Saturday, July 20 & Sunday, July 21 @ 11:00am
  • Session 5 - Saturday, July 27 & Sunday, July 28 @ 11:00am
  • Session 6 - Saturday, Aug 3 & Sunday, Aug 4 @ 11:00am

Summer Weekday Swim Lessons @ 10:00 am or 11:00 am

  • Session 1 - Monday – Friday, from June 17 – 28
  • Session 2 - Monday – Friday, from July 8 – 19
  • Session 3 - Monday – Friday, from July 22 – Aug 2

Swim Lesson Levels: 

  • Level 1: Has never taken swim lessons and is unable to swim without the assistance of another person.
  • Level 2: Child is comfortable enough to put head and face underwater and swim independently with the assistance of a floatation device in shallow water.
  • Level 3: Can swim at least 20 yards continuously with minimal to no assistance, using doggie paddle or a basic front crawl. Has a basic introduction to treading and diving.
  • Level 4: Able swim laps continuously without assistance. Has a basic knowledge of front crawl, back crawl, and breaststroke. Can perform standing dive at the edge of the pool.

Registration Information:

For first time registrants the parent/guardian should go onto the website and create an account, once the account is created they can go into their profile at the top of the page and add any dependents/perspective attendees that they plan to register. You will then be able to register the perspective attendee for your program of choice and pay with either a Credit Card or through Paypal.
