Tribes features Ithaca College Theatre Arts alumni and faculty both onstage and behind the scenes, including assistant professor Dean Robinson, Juliet Kimble ('19), Danielle Moyal ('19), and Tyler Struble ('19). Tribes, Kitchen Theatre company’s exciting production by Nina Raine and directed by M. Bevin O’Gara, runs now through June 23rd. “The reality for a lot of deaf children is they are often taught to be ashamed of learning and appreciating their own language. Tribes shows Billy, a deaf man, on a journey of change and appreciation for a culture he’d been missing out on his whole life.” - Joey Caverly, Billy. KTC is offering a number of special events for Tribes, including another Pay What You Want Preview on June 4th, Actors’ Forum discussions after the shows on June 7th and June 14th, and an ASL Interpreted Performance on June 21st.
