Sara Haefeli, associate professor of music history, is the first ever scholar-in-residence at the Summer Institute for Contemporary Performance Practice (SICPP) at New England Conservatory in Boston. The week-long festival includes daily masterclasses, colloquia, rehearsals, and concerts. Haefeli joins composer-in-residence Michael Finnissy, guest artists Mark Dresser (bass) and Joseph Kubera (piano), and the Ensemble-in-Residence, the Callithumpian Consort (directed by Stephen Drury).
