The International Trumpet Guild website has posted three interviews of prominent trumpeters collected by recently retired Professor of Music Kim Dunnick.

The International Trumpet Guild website has posted three interviews of prominent trumpeters collected by recently retired Professor of Music Kim Dunnick. Kim and his wife, Jane, have developed a video area for the ITG titled “Historical Recollections”. They interviewed several trumpeters who have made significant contributions to the trumpet community over their careers. Those interviewed are Frank Kaderabek, retired principal trumpet of the Philadelphia Orchestra, Charles Schlueter, retired principal of the Boston Symphony, and Ed Tarr, noted trumpet soloist and a highly regarded author and expert in trumpet history. The interviews are available at the ITG website, trumpetguild.org, under “resources”, “videos”, “historical recollections” and then the name of the player. There are several more interviews in the editing stage which will be posted at a later time.
