Beginning July 8th Marsha Dawson will join Ithaca College serving as the New Director of Residential Life and Judicial Affairs.

Previously Marsha worked as the Associate Director and then Interim Director of Residential Life at The New School in NY, N.Y. building upon her expertise in residential education, departmental operations, strategic planning, social justice, student conduct, and project management. With a degree in Organizational Psychology and a passion for community outreach, Marsha enjoys being with family, friends, and an active member of the community. Her community work includes volunteering for the New York Rescue Mission, serving as the representative for ACE Women's Network at The New School, and currently serving as a Victims Advocate for Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital in Manhattan, NY. When asked how she feels about her new role at Ithaca Marsha said "I am thrilled about this new occupational journey and would like to express my honor and gratitude for the opportunity to work with Ithaca College. I look forward to the major learning experiences ahead and all the collaborative opportunities to do great work together. I am eager to create positive contributions to the college and am especially excited to work with everyone in the residential life and judicial affairs team.”
