John Fracchia, Career Services, recently completed his Presidential year with the National Dance Society at the organization’s annual conference in Virginia Beach. 

The non-profit organization, founded in 2014, provides leadership in the delivery of dance and dance education, and works to further dance as an art form, a support for academic success, and a process for improving individuals’ health and wellness across a lifetime.  Highlights of his presidency include, the release of the National Dance Education Standards Framework published by Human Kinetics, acceptance of the organization’s research and pedagogy journal for indexing by EBSCO and Cengage, and becoming a partner of the International Dance Entreprenuers Association (IDEA).  

This year he transitions to past-President where he will chair the finance committee and 2021 conference site selection committee.
