Institutional Review Board Meetings, Submission Dates, and Training WorkshopsContributed by Stephanie St. John on 08/18/19 The Institutional Review Board (IRB) is responsible for reviewing all College research and teaching activities conducted by faculty, staff, and students that involve the use of human participants. If you are uncertain whether your project requires review, or if you plan to submit an IRB proposal in the coming semester, please visit the website. You will find forms, examples and instructions, proposal submission deadlines, committee meeting dates and a listing of members. IMPORTANT: The IRB protocol review process is now managed through the Axiom Mentor IRB system. Standard and Delegated Review Applications MUST be received by 5:00 pm on the submission deadline to be reviewed by the committee at the next scheduled meeting: Submission Deadline Meeting Date Wednesdays: Fridays: August 28 September 6 September 11 September 20 September 25 October 4 October 16 October 25 October 30 November 8 November 13 November 22 November 27 December 6 December 11 December 20 IRB Training Workshops The Institutional Review Board will be holding two training workshops this semester for faculty, staff, and students.
