Congratulations Kelley Sullivan, Doug Turnbull, and Matt Thomas on your recent NSF grants!!!Contributed by Ashley Bohn on 08/22/19 This makes 8 grants in the last 13 months!!!
Please join me in congratulating Kelley Sullivan and her dedicated team: John Barr, Matt Thomas, David Brown, and Stacia Zabusky on their recent National Science Foundation (NSF) grant in the for nearly $650,000! This grant will be used in support of S-STEM scholarships to recruit and retain low-income, academically talented computer science, mathematics, or physics/astronomy students. This grant will serve a total of 14 students (two cohorts of 7) over a five year period! Please join me in congratulating Doug Turnbull on being awarded a four year, collaborative research grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) titled, Counterfactual Learning and Evaluation for Interactive Information Systems. The total grant award is for $220,000! Please join me in congratulating Matt Thomas on his most recent collaborative research grant with Ohio State and the Univ. of Minnesota, from the National Science Foundation (NSF). “Empowering faculty to run online learning experiments,” was approved for $152,000! These are just three of the eight grants in the last 13 months from the National Science Foundation!!! Congratulations to our talented faculty and staff on these most deserved grants! We are excited to see what the future holds! |
