Join the Center for IDEAS and New Student & Transition programs on September 4th from 2:30-4:00 for a webinar and debrief workshop in Taughannock Falls Room!

Earn SLI (Leading Self) credit through attending this webinar and debrief workshop. The webinar will provide strategies for First-Generation Students of Color (SOC) navigating predominately and historically white institutions. Through the webinar and debrief that will follow, there will be a focus on the intersectionality of race, class,  gender, and ability. This workshop aims to share lived experiences to illuminate differing trajectories of success and valuable campus resources. The webinar will also discuss mentorship, mental health-seeking behaviors, identity-based student campus spaces, safe and inclusive spaces, and bias incident reporting systems.
